My "McNairn" family consists of my parents Muriel Ruth (nee Knickle) and James Edward McNairn. I have one sister Nancy Ann.
In 2002 and 2003 we lost my father and my grandmother (Harriet Dauphinee nee Vaughan). It was a difficult time for us all.
In the early 90s I was researching the McNairn family tree, which was more or less frustrating, as the Internet was too new and not enough information was available thru other methods. My father was also very interested in following the family tree. His mother (Hazel Cox (nee Potter)) had been the person who had passed what information there was onto his sister (Shirley Sherboneau (nee McNairn). Aunt Shirley showed and gave me some of this information. It intrigued me and has continued to do so ever since.
Years after giving up and putting the information away I was contacted by Judi McNairn and Cheryl Grice who have done a tremendous job at researching the McNairn families. They have assisted me and given me information that has kept my genealogy bug alive.
